I applied online. I interviewed at sorcero (Washington, DC) in Nov 2022
Interview
Three interviews - first starting with the recruiter, then the director, and finishing with the VP. Typical interview questions. Nothing tricky to intentionally trip you up. Process included a take home activity for competency.

Question 1
They wanted to know how comfortable I would be at a company that used a lot of medical terminology.

Interview
UNPROFESSIONAL and CONFUSING. I had a confirmed interview set with their recruiter and answered some basic questions. Not even 24 hours later, before the scheduled time, I got a generic no-reply rejection email. The calendar invite was not cancelled or removed and there was no other follow-up (I did login to confirm in case there was an error, but no one showed up). The EASIEST thing to do would have been to send a calendar appointment cancellation after that email. Take the other warnings seriously as they definitely have some problems and treat applicants like junk mail.

Question 1
Not applicable. They cancelled with no reason except other candidates were more aligned, AFTER I gave them my salary range (which was a lot lower than my current pay and the local average for the role). It is likely they are looking for someone with such experience but low salary expectations. Salaries are almost always negotiable.
