I applied online. The process took 8 months. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Las Vegas, NV) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied online via their career portal on the Legogroup website. From there a somewhat lengthy online application process will begin. It is not tailored to the position levels or types, so for an entry level sales position still expect to receive irrelevant questions for potential employees that are much older or have far more experience. After going through the online application process, about a week later I received a call to interview at the mall where the position and store was present. Upon arrival I was required to fill out another paper application concerning many of the same questions such as school completion, job experience, scheduling and personal data.
The in person interview proceeding out in the very loud common area centered in the mall. The questions were fairly standard.
I was unable to reach the local manager who interviewed me at the store when calling to thank the person for the interview as well as a follow up. I did not receive a notice from Legogroup about the position for about 8 months... unacceptable regardless of position type, level or outcome.
I applied online. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Lone Tree, CO) in July 2025
Interview
Sat down and discussed what the role entails, a background of the store itself and what average hours looked like. Then went into further questions about my qualifications and how it would be beneficial to the store.
The interview was a typical one, where questions of how you have interacted with children included, which was different but expected from a store such as this one. I really enjoyed the conversation and the way they handled the interview.

Question 1
Something along the lines of: “how have you interacted with children before?”
