I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Richmond, BC) in Aug 2023
Interview
Probably one of the worst group interviews I've ever had in my life. The first thing they wanted us to was introduced ourselves and tell a story about customer service. One of the girls was telling her story and the manager would basically feed words into her mouth and wouldn't let her finish. Then they wanted us to do a team challenge and they wanted us to make a name for our team. I picked lego the manager then proceeded to say how borning and on brand wtf?? Then it keeps getting worse then I had to try and sell a lego set to a edlery man I picked a lego set the manager then said oh wow that set is very had even I couldn't complete the whole in front of everyone else. Also he has no idea what the work environment is like and on top of that they will slash your hours if you do so so

I applied online. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Lone Tree, CO) in July 2025
Interview
Sat down and discussed what the role entails, a background of the store itself and what average hours looked like. Then went into further questions about my qualifications and how it would be beneficial to the store.
The interview was a typical one, where questions of how you have interacted with children included, which was different but expected from a store such as this one. I really enjoyed the conversation and the way they handled the interview.
