Interview
You first get a call from the HR, who's usually lovely. I had my first face to face with the operations manager an was given the impression I was going to be hired, until I got to the final interview with the people who would be right above me ...

Interview
The most ridiculous interview I've been to. The office is a massive open space in the basement, and the meeting room was busy, so they interviewed me at a table in the middle of people working and being able to hear every word! Very unprofessional. The interview started with the interviewer selling the company to me, and then one of the team leaders joined us. She admitted that the interview wasn't specifically for her team, but hey, well, a management representative has to be present at the interview. Again, so unprofessional, as he manager should take part in hiring a new person for their team, shouldn't they? I was asked to take one "IT knowledge" test (on paper - I remember one ridiculous question that was "How do you save a Word file as a PDF" - everyone knows how to do it on their computer, but you have to describe it step by step on paper without access to one). Then I was asked to do a proofreading check - this one was on a computer. Do I need to mention that both tests were performed at a random desk in the middle of the office. They didn't get back to me, but I kept asking for feedback, and eventually they just said "they decided to go with someone better suited" - nothing about how I actually did. I really needed a job at the time and so was disappointed, but from a time perspective, reading other reviews and remembering that one-off experienceI am EXTREMELY happy I didn't get it.
