How would you manage students with inflated expectations of their academic ability? Do you respect "culture"? Are you willing to use technology in the classroom?
Nothing really. You'll know immediately if you will be a good fit based on the culture you observe. There is very little smoke and mirrors here. They want to keep those they hire.
Some interview questions (that I can remember) included: How do you support students who are both at-risk as well as high achieving? How do you align with the core values of Chamberlain University? Can you share a time when you had to coach a student through a difficult learning obstacle?
If we asked you to start tomorrow, would you feel capable of doing it?
How do you feel about teaching 4 classes? How many papers do you think you will write this semester? Given the number of hours faculty are expected to teach coupled with the very strict and inflexible research program, I found it surprising that this question was asked seriously. It seems that the the US research/teaching balance is unfamiliar to them. They said that most of their faculty managed this easily. However, looking at recent posts on this site, there seems to be a difference in what is expected and what the faculty are willing to undertake.
