KJR is seeking an experienced Test Lead to support the delivery, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of a large-scale Customer Information and Billing System (CIS) within the Utilities sector, with a strong focus on Salesforce-based solutions and integrations.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a senior testing professional who can lead testing activities end-to-end while remaining close to delivery.
The role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and integrity of complex business and technology solutions. This opportunity is particularly suited to someone with strong experience testing Salesforce platforms, utilities customer and billing processes, system integrations, regulatory change, and digital customer service workflows.

Lead end-to-end testing activities across System Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Develop and own the test approach, test plan, test scope, test schedule, test data approach, and resource planning for the stream / project.

Coordinate and oversee testing activities across business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure high-quality delivery outcomes.

Provide hands-on support where required across test analysis, test case design, execution, defect triage, and test reporting.

Review business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications to ensure test coverage is fit for purpose.

Lead testing across Salesforce platforms and related customer / billing systems, ensuring end-to-end quality across business processes, integrations, and data flows.

Validate Salesforce workflows, case management processes, customer service functionality, field/service processes, custom configurations, and end-to-end customer journeys where applicable.

Support testing of Salesforce objects, validation rules, flows, profiles, permissions, page layouts, Lightning components/pages, and custom business rules.

Perform and/or oversee testing of Salesforce integrations, APIs, middleware interfaces, and data flows between Salesforce and connected enterprise systems.

Validate customer account management, billing processes, tariff updates, service requests, notifications, and customer communication workflows across Salesforce and integrated platforms.

Manage the defect lifecycle from identification through to closure.

Act as the key testing contact for business stakeholders, delivery leads, client representatives, and technology teams.

Independently manage customer expectations, communicate progress, and provide confidence around testing outcomes and delivery status.

Build strong working relationships with business users, product owners, developers, BAs, and external vendors.

Minimum 7+ years’ experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, including experience in a Test Lead / Senior Test Analyst capacity.

Demonstrated experience leading System Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT across complex enterprise environments.

Proven experience managing test planning, test estimation, test execution oversight, defect management, and release readiness.

Strong experience testing Salesforce platforms and solutions, including validation of workflows, integrations, custom configurations, and data across Salesforce and connected systems.

Experience supporting testing across Salesforce environments, including system, integration, and regression testing of Salesforce-based functionality.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to independently manage customer expectations, provide testing leadership, and operate confidently in client-facing environments.

Experience within the Utilities sector, including electricity, gas, water, telecommunications, or infrastructure.

Exposure to Customer Information Systems (CIS), Billing, and Revenue Management platforms.

Experience working with Amazon Omnichannel or similar omnichannel customer engagement / contact centre solutions.

Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar.

ISTQB certification or equivalent testing qualification.

Strong leadership capability with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach.

Able to operate autonomously and take ownership of testing outcomes.

Confident in dealing directly with clients and managing competing priorities.

Pragmatic, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in fast-moving project environments.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance strategic oversight and day-to-day execution.
