Arawang Primary School is seeking applications for a dynamic Food Technology Assistant to join our team.
Food Technology Assistants play an important role in supporting teaching and learning within our Café program, while also contributing to classroom and small group learning across the school. Working closely with teachers and school staff, you will help deliver practical learning experiences, ensuring lessons run smoothly and align with curriculum and student learning goals.
In this role, you will support the delivery of the Café program by preparing workspaces, materials and equipment, and assisting students and staff in practical learning environments. You will also contribute to maintaining safe, organised and well-resourced learning spaces, including managing equipment, coordinating supplies and supporting workplace health and safety practices.
Arawang Primary School provides high-quality teaching and learning programs for students from preschool to year 6, fostering independence, confidence and a strong sense of belonging. We are a welcoming and inclusive community of approximately 520 students and 50 staff.
This is a part-time position (4 days per week, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm).
