Our client is looking for an experience Tester to join a project team supporting a leading construction sector client. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on testing experience, be comfortable working with business and technical stakeholders, and have a proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test strategies, and test cases.
Execute manual testing across multiple applications and business processes.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects through to resolution.
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and business stakeholders.
Validate functional and non-functional requirements.
Participate in test planning, test execution, defect triage, and test reporting activities.
Ensure quality standards are met prior to deployment.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities where required.
Maintain testing documentation and provide regular status updates.
Required Skills and Experience
3–5+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
Strong experience writing test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases.
Experience using testing and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, TestRail or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand technical solutions and translate business requirements into test cases.
Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience testing IBM Maximo applications.
Previous experience within construction, engineering, utilities, or asset management environments.
