I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Carrier (Palm Beach Gardens, FL)
Interview
The entire process took 5 (!) months just to be rejected. About a month after I applied, a recruiter reached out. They expedited the interview process since it was around the holidays by the time I started interviewing. I continued to follow up with the recruiter who felt very disorganized and kept telling me they would have next steps for me but never proactively reached out. I had my final interview in early February with the Director of the department. It was scheduled on a Friday and was a WFH day for the company. I thought this was incredibly weird since the role was expected to be hybrid with 4 days in office. When was I going to see the office if every interview was virtual? A month after my final interview, I still had not received a decision one way or the other but the recruiter kept reassuring me I probably had the job. I checked the portal on my own 5 weeks after the final interview, and saw the job was gone. I never received a rejection via email or from the recruiter. I had to follow up with the recruiter twice to get any sort of answer. The recruiter never called to speak to me about where the job had gone. I wasted 5 months of my life being lead on by this company to not even receive the courtesy of a proper rejection, having made it to the final interview and constantly receiving reassurance that I was the right fit for this role. Recently, this role was reposted with an adjusted title but identical JD. I reached out to the recruiter and not only did she not respond, but I was rejected immediately. Do with this information what you will.
