For Applied Data Resources (ADR), the sum of its parts is greater than the whole. The company distributes computer components, hardware, imaging supplies, and media storage from such manufacturers as Canon, Epson, Lexmark, Pitney Bowes, and Sharp. The Texas-based company also offers data services, including data recovery, format conversion, library profiling, magnetic media support programs, and media copying. Customers have included Dell, Frito-Lay, Texas Instruments, EDS, and others. President George Wong founded the company in 1985.
