Alto is a Crown corporation whose mandate is to transform passenger rail service, making it faster and easier to travel in Canada’s most populated areas. With over 1,000 km of new passenger rail service, this new high speed train network will run on mostly electrified and dedicated tracks between Toronto and Québec City. The high frequency rail project is the Canada's largest infrastructure project in generations.
