Mission Empowering Community Health Leaders with Innovative Solutions.
Description EVERY TEAM HAS A STORY, AND WE THINK OURS IS ONE TO SHARE. AM’s story began with the September 11th attack on the United States. AM’s founder, Dan Gabriel – profoundly affected by that day – acted by ultimately spending the next ten years with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
In service to our nation and global community, our team has demonstrated experience in Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, as well as separate work in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Ethiopia, Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, the UAE, Turkey, and Europe.
International work, elevating the quality of life within communities, has allowed AM to develop expertise in several areas. Through service, a theme emerged: the importance of public/private partnerships.
Founded in 2011 on a commitment to designing and delivering innovative, comprehensive, and scalable solutions through public/private partnerships, AM started with a motivation to serve. Since inception, our work has created meaningful change and supported government – at all levels.
As a contractor for the United States Agency for Global Media (USGM), more commonly known as the Voice of America, we were tasked with opening an otherwise closed and restrictive state-controlled information environment in Cuba. This was done through strategic communication, quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, and intelligence collection.
This work required AM to set up a network of independent media professionals and build local media agencies in Cuba. After training, equipping, and nurturing these independent journalists an environment of sustainable and accurate multimedia reporting emerged for Cuban citizens.
Soon after, AM was contracted by the Department of Defense to do counter threat messaging work. By analyzing data collected from populations across the Middle East and using those insights to develop messaging and multimedia products.
Beginning a shift in the operational paradigm of AM, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) selected our team to deliver services on a health IT contract in 2015, with subsequent VA contracts following. The initial partnership allowed each of us to create meaningful change by optimizing quality medical care for Veterans and their families while strengthening all aspects of the VA’s information systems security. The follow-on work with the VA included mobile app development and web services to facilitate inpatient and outpatient electronic health records, software architecture, and cyber and information security operations.
Health IT, and the services provided to the VA were foundational in deploying contact tracing solutions in response to the emergence of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2020, as the President declared COVID-19 a national emergency, AM identified needs and created a framework of solutions the company could provide to contribute to response operations.
Rapid deployment has always been a cornerstone of AM. That strength allowed our team to acquire the nation’s best and brightest public health, IT, research informatics, communication, and analytics professionals to strategically develop and deploy high quality services to public health authorities. These services have grown to include: Community Health, K-12 Health, Data & Research, Health Information Technology, and Healthcare & Telehealth.
Our public health work utilizes innovative technology and experienced personnel to design and deliver comprehensive, and scalable solutions to support the nation’s evolving public health infrastructure.
