Description AlphaTrade.com has traded stocks for advertising. The company previously offered a subscription-based service that provided clients with real-time and delayed stock market quotes and other financial information over the Internet, but has shifted its business model to providing digital media marketing and advertising services. In the past, AlphaTrade has signed deals with various sports franchises (including the New York Mets and Dallas Mavericks) to display its ads in their stadiums and arenas. However, in 2011 the company voluntarily filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
