Ampol Food Processing supplies an ample amount of coconut milk and other beverages to the Thai public. Founded in 1988, Ampol got its start exporting processed fruits and vegetables. Today, the company primarily manufactures health drinks, including its flagship Chaokoh brand coconut milk. It also makes gels, jellies, nectars, and juices made from coconut; rice milk cereal drinks; flavored fruit juices; and sauces and seasonings. Ampol sells its products in Thailand and Japan, as well as some 20 other countries, including in Europe and the Middle East. The company is part of Thailand's spice supplier and exporter, Theppadungporn Coconut Company.
