Auto-trol Technology can't help guard bridges, but it will help automate data and asset management processes. Founded in 1962, Auto-trol develops software that enables manufacturers, engineers, and governmental agencies to manage property such as documents, drawings, equipment, products, and other assets; design and illustrate technical publications; and manage the engineering, design, and operation of plant processes (manufacturing facilities, energy-producing plants, etc.). In addition to software, the company also offers consulting, education, and support services. Auto-trol has operations in North America and Europe; its clients have included Boeing, Scania, the US Army, and the Kennedy Space Center.
