Buffalo Technology is not out to save the world, but it could save data for computer makers and PC owners. The company makes network attached storage (NAS) gear, external storage drives, optical storage drives, wireless routers, and digital high definition media players. Its specialty products include printer memory modules and a print server. The company is a subsidiary of Japan-based Buffalo, Inc., which is part of the Melco Group. Melco's various units sell worldwide under the Buffalo brand name. The Buffalo organization has offices in Germany, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and the UK, as well as the US.
