Catapult Technology wants to boost government IT systems to the next level. The company provides management consulting, system engineering, and management of information technology (IT) infrastructure to a wide range of mostly civilian federal government agencies. Its areas of specialty include systems engineering, network design, and product lifecycle management. Catapult has implemented a wireless network for the Department of Veterans Affairs and developed a financial education website for the Department of the Treasury, among other projects. Other customers have included the Drug Enforcement Administration, the US Patent and Trademark Office, and the US Army. Catapult was founded in 1996 by CEO Randy Slager.
