Chelsea Property Group (also known as Premium Outlets), a subsidiary of retail giant Simon Property Group, owns, develops, leases, and manages some 50 factory outlet shopping centers in the US and abroad. The properties typically are located near metropolitan areas and tourist destinations such as Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Branson, Missouri, and California's Monterey Peninsula. The shopping centers feature some 750 tenants, including such high-end fashion names as Gucci, Versace, Coach, and Michael Kors. Most of its centers operate under the Premium Outlet name. Through joint ventures, Chelsea Property also operates seven outlet malls in Japan, one in Korea, and one in Mexico.
