Citizens aims to prepare its customers for two of life's certainties: living and dying. A holding company, Citizens, provides ordinary life insurance in niche markets through its various operating subsidiaries. Through its CICA Life Ltd., it issues life insurance in US dollars to individuals around the world. On the other end of the economic and life spectrum, its Home Service segment sells life insurance to middle-income individuals in the a Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas, primarily to cover final expenses and burial costs.
