Boxed beef is a modern carnivore's main course thanks to Colorado Boxed Beef Co. The company wholesales and distributes meat throughout the US and abroad. Its operations comprise about a half-dozen processing and distribution facilities. The company offers beef, pork, veal, and lamb (most of which originate in Colorado) under such brands as Angus Ranch, Bridgewater Farms, New Generation, and Cedar Creek. Colorado Boxed Beef also supplies poultry, seafood, cheese, and other fresh, frozen, and dry goods. It serves retailers, foodservice suppliers, and restaurant and hospitality businesses, as well as cruise ship lines and the US military. The family-owned business was founded in 1975 by Richard and Edith Saterbo.
