Comfortex Corporation has it made in the shades. Also known as Comfortex Window Fashions, it makes and markets customized window treatments. The company's products portfolio includes cellular and pleated shades, wood blinds and shutters, sheer window shadings, cellular vertical blinds, among other items. It makes its items under such brand names as Symphony, Woodwinds, Saratoga, and Ensemble. The company's products, which are sold through a network of specialty retailers nationwide, are manufactured in the US at a facility in Arizona. They're peddled in some 70 countries, including every state in the US. Comfortex, a subsidiary of the Netherlands-based Hunter Douglas, was co-founded in 1986.
