Ma! I tripped and sprained my ankle on a pine cone! Good thing Conemaugh Health System is there. The medical provider serves western Pennsylvania through three hospitals and a rehabilitation center including Memorial Medical Center, Meyersdale Medical Center, Miners Medical Center, and Crichton Rehabilitation Center (together the four house about 600 beds). Conemaugh also operates a network of community health care facilities. It offers such services as regional cancer, cardiovascular, and neurosciences centers; home health care and home medical equipment; general care facilities; and specialized facilities for managing pain and wounds. Conemaugh also operates Penn Highlands Health Plan, a PPO.
