      Description The Cooking Channel is a cable television network owned and operated by Scripps Networks Interactive. It reaches about 60 million US households with a slate of programming focused on cooking shows that teach viewers about new recipes and culinary techniques. Many of its shows are hosted by celebrity chefs, including Mario Batali and David Rocco. In addition to its television programming, the Cooking Channel distributes content online through its website. Scripps Networks, which also operates the Food Network and HGTV, launched the Cooking Channel in 2010, replacing its Fine Living Network.
