This Crescent helps your financial health take shape. Crescent Financial is the holding company for Crescent State Bank, which operates some 15 branches in central North Carolina. The bank offers standard products and services, including checking and savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards. Commercial mortgages and construction loans make up the bulk of its loan portfolio; the bank also writes business loans, home equity loans, and residential mortgages. Through Crescent Investment Services, it offers financial planning products and services. Recently formed financial services group Piedmont Community Bank Holdings bought a 66% stake in Crescent Financial in 2011.
