Description Cytogen develops and markets products to improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Its main products are Quadramet, a pain treatment for cancers that have spread to the bones, and Prostascint, a diagnostic imaging agent for prostate cancer. Cytogen has two other FDA-approved drugs: Soltamox, a liquid oral hormonal therapy for breast cancer; and Caphosol, which treats oral mucositis and dry mouth, both side effects of radiation and chemotherapy treatments. In 2006 the company sold its interest in joint venture PSMA Development, which was developing cancer therapies, to its partner in the venture, Progenics Pharmaceuticals.
