DCH Health System Snapshot
The DCH Healthcare Authority is concerned with the Druid City's health. The company, which does business as DCH Health System, provides health services to residents of Tuscaloosa and several other communities in Western Alabama. Its flagship facility is the 580-bed DCH Regional Medical Center, a full-service teaching hospital located near the University of Alabama campus. DCH Health System also includes the Northport, Pickens County, and Fayette medical centers, which together house 320 acute-care beds. The hospitals offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including primary, diagnostic, emergency, surgical, rehabilitative, and home health care.
