Description Daio Paper would like to beat its competition to a pulp! One of Japan's top paper manufacturers, the company primarily produces goods including paperboard, wrapping paper, linerboard, packaging and sanitation products (tissue paper), cardboard, and pulp. Daio Paper also makes paper-processed products such as newspapers, corrugated cardboard, and napkins, and is active in the timber and forestry industries. The company, formed in 1943, operates 38 consolidated subsidiaries and has an annual mill capacity of more than 3 million tons. Descendants of the founding Ikawa family are still involved in the company's management.
