Description Deb Shops just, like, knows fashion, totally, you know? Targeting fashion-conscious juniors, teens, and plus-sized misses, Deb Shops sells moderately priced accessories, coats, dresses, lingerie, shoes, and sportswear through about 335 stores in some 40 US states. The retailer also sells apparel online. The DEB chain makes up almost all of the company's stores. About half of all DEB stores contain plus-size departments. Other chains include CSO (outlet stores) and Tops 'N Bottoms (apparel for young men and juniors). Founded in 1932 as Joy Hosiery, Deb Shops is owned by Deb Stores Holding LLC, an investment group led by Ableco Finance. Ableco oversaw Deb's reorganization following a bankruptcy filing in 2011.
