One doesn't need an oracle to see that Delphi Financial Group knows a thing or two about employee benefits and insurance. Through Reliance Standard Life and Safety National Casualty, Delphi sells disability, excess workers' compensation, group life, and personal accident insurance to small and midsized businesses. Its Matrix Absence Management subsidiary provides disability and absence management services to larger employers. The company also offers asset accumulation products, mainly annuities, to individuals and groups. Delphi Financial's products are sold through independent brokers and agents. In late 2011 the insurance group agreed to be acquired by leading Japanese insurer Tokio Marine Holdings.
