This Dundee wrestles economic fluctuations, not crocs. The investment firm owns interests in companies involved in natural resources, precious metals, and real estate. It holds majority stakes in Dundee Energy (formerly Eurogas) and Dundee Realty, and significant minority interests in investment dealer and fund manager Dundee Securities, Breakwater Resources, and Dundee Precious Metals. In 2011 Dundee Corporation sold its controlling stake in DundeeWealth, which offers portfolio management, mutual funds, and other investment products and services, to Scotiabank for some $2.3 billion. CEO Ned Goodman controls some 80% of Dundee Corporation.
