Eclipse has found a hot market: industrial heating and drying systems used by such industries as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food, and pollution control. The company makes low-emission gas and oil burners and related combustion system components, as well as combustion systems for the ceramics and glass industries. It also offers design, installation, and service. The company's Algas-SDI subsidiary makes gas vaporizing and mixing equipment, while its Exothermic subsidiary produces heat exchangers and recuperators that process, dry, cure, bake, or finish products. Eclipse's customers include 3M, Dow Chemical, General Motors, and Owens Corning. Eclipse is owned by the family of former chairman Campbell Perks.
