Edsal Manufacturing is the Container Store for business and industry. It makes and distributes storage systems and industrial furniture through half a dozen plants and distribution centers located in the Chicago area. Edsal Manufacturing's products include lateral files, lockers, service carts, shop desks, stools, storage cabinets, and work benches. The storage system provider boasts brand names such as Cabinette (compact storage cabinets), Citadel (school, hospital, industrial, and club lockers), HEVILOAD PLUS II (steel shelving), StorMaster Pallet Rack Storage Systems, and UltraCap (steel shelving). Founded in 1952 by Ed Saltzberg, Edsal Manufacturing is run by son Bruce Saltzberg and son-in-law Mitch Liss.
