If you've got business performance management and IT problems, there is Emerging Solutions. (Note to grammar teachers: The verb in the preceding sentence is correct.) Founded in 1997 by co-CEOs Greg Lewis and Don Sweeney, Gnuco (dba Emerging Solutions) is a professional services firm providing consulting in business applications, business performance management, technology strategy, and Web services. The company works with computer hardware and software from a variety of vendors; it partners with Actuate, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and Quest Software, among others. Emerging Solutions can build Web portals, manage Web content, and implement Web services. In 2011 it agreed to be acquired by IT services company Emtec.
