It designs and manufactures mid-size commercial walk-behind (Metro, Viking, Turf Tracer) and riding lawn mowers (Navigator, FrontRunner, Next Lazer Z, Quest) for landscape professionals. The company's machines run on diesel as well as alternative fuels (biodiesel, propane). Exmark sells its turf care equipment to distributors, who market the products to dealers throughout the US and Canada. The company was incorporated in 1982 as a maker of mid-size walk-behind mowers and turf rakes. It is a subsidiary of The Toro Company.
