Falstrom Company's strength lies in providing contract manufacturing of precision steel parts and fittings for the defense and aerospace industries. The firm's custom electronic enclosures and assemblies are designed for the US military, primarily the US Navy, and selected commercial clients, such as General Electric, ITT, Lockheed Martin, Pitney Bowes, and Rockwell, among others. Its services include fabrication, welding, painting, finishing, testing, and mechanical and electronic assembly. The company started out as a small metal fabricating shop founded in 1870 by Swedish immigrant Gustav Falstrom and is operated by a fourth generation of descendants.
