Formance was founded in 2021 by Clément (our CTO) and Anne-Sybille (our CEO), a duo combining deep technical expertise with bold business vision. Together, they set out to reinvent how modern companies manage and move money - with tools that are as flexible and scalable as the businesses using them.

Since our launch, we’ve grown quickly, raised $21 million in funding from investors including PayPal Ventures, and opened our first U.S. office in New York City to support our global expansion.
