Its products are used to enable consumers to update contacts and tasks on their wireless phones, as well as applications for wireless carriers and OEMs to deploy similar technology on their networks and devices. The company also provides businesses with a messaging synchronization tool for keeping mobile workers connected. FusionOne agreed to be acquired by Synchronoss in July 2010 for $40 million.
