The company, a subsidiary of Taiwanese PC maker Acer, sells desktop and portable PCs, as well as LCD displays and third-party accessories such as speakers and carrying cases. It also provides technical support services for its products, as well as for electronics products by other manufacturers. The company sells through retailers including Best Buy, Office Depot, Wal-Mart, Frys Electronics, and Newegg, and various channel partners. Parent company Acer also markets the eMachines and Packard Bell brands, making it among the top PC manufacturers in the world, trailing such stalwarts as Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, and Dell.
