Globalive Communications wants to invigorate Canadians' conversations. Operating through its subsidiaries, the company provides telecommunications services to Canadian consumers, as well as businesses in the hospitality industry, among others. Globalive units include Yak Communications (integrated communications for consumers), Canada Payphone, OneConnect and Cohere (VoIP for small and medium size businesses), and Canopco (telecom services for the hospitality industry). Globalive also offers wireless services under the WIND Mobile brand in partnership with Egyptian telecom carrier (and key investor) Orascom Telecom through its investment in WIND Telecomunicazione, which provides mobile services in Italy and Greece.
