Gowanda Electronics makes magnetic radio-frequency (RF) and power components such as filters, inductors, cores, coils, chokes, and transformers. The company sells to manufacturers in the computer, communications, medical equipment, monitoring systems, and test and measurement industries. Gowanda's components also find their way into consumer electronics. Customers include Agilent Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent, Hewlett-Packard, and Tektronix. Gowanda Electronics was established in 1963. President and CEO David Schaack owns half of the company.
