Imation wants to start fresh with a blank disk. The company is one of the world's top makers of media used to capture, process, store, and distribute information on computers and other electronic devices. Its removable data storage media products include optical disks (CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs) and magnetic storage tapes. It also offers flash memory drives, removable storage drives, and a line of electronics and accessory products that include portable CD players and iPod clock radios. Imation sells its products directly and through distributors to customers that range from PC owners to large corporations. More than half of sales come from customers outside the US.
