Jaco Electronics, doing business as Jaco Display Solutions, offers information displays for a variety of industries. In 2009 Jaco sold the assets of its electronic components distribution business to WPG Americas, Inc., a subsidiary of Taiwan-based WPG Holdings. Jaco shifted its focus to distributing displays, embedded computing products, and inverters, while providing value-added services. The components distribution business is shifting to Asia, the company noted. Jaco also offers a number of services, including inventory management and flat-panel display system configuration, but discontinued contract manufacturing services. The company still provides engineering support services for its customers.
