Jet Lithocolor wants to get print ideas off the ground. The company is one of the largest commercial printers of gift, phone, membership, and other plastic and paper cards. It also prints annual reports, direct-mail pieces, and point-of-purchase displays. Other services include digital prepress, lamination, bindery, fulfillment, and distribution. In an effort to be more environmentally conscious, Jet also offers recycled products and plastic items made from corn. The firm serves customers in the retail, entertainment, and restaurant industries. It was founded in 1947 by Fred Dominick. In 2008 Ohio-based private equity firm Brantley Partners acquired a significant stake in the commercial printer.
