The company offers smart cards, electronic payment software, payment terminals, and transaction-processing services used for a variety of applications, including Visa, MasterCard, and other credit and debit transactions and retail customer loyalty programs. Its smart cards can also be used by government agencies (e.g. drivers' licenses) and by companies (ID cards for private networks). Operating primarily in Belgium, Keyware sells its products directly to merchants, banks, companies, and other customers, as well as through resellers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMS). Its processing software is also used in thousands of third-party ATM terminals.
