Description From its beginnings hauling milk from Lakeville, Minnesota, to Minneapolis, Lakeville Motor Express has expanded to provide less-than-truckload (LTL) services throughout 10 states in the Midwest. (LTL carriers combine freight from multiple shippers into a single truckload.) It operates a fleet of about 900 tractors and trailers from a network of some 35 terminals. It offers service elsewhere in North America through its partners in The Reliance Network, a group of regional LTL carriers. Lakeville Motor Express also offers freight brokerage and logistics services. In December 2009 Roger Wilsey bought the company from the Wren family, which started Lakeville Motor Express in 1921. Wilsey also became CEO.
