Through its operating subsidiaries, the company offers engineering services, new construction and fabrication, refurbishment, and upgrades of onshore and offshore oil and gas structures such as offshore jack-up rigs, land rigs, and lift boats. The company operates primarily in the Arabian Gulf region from three facilities located in the United Arab Emirates. Its customers have included SBM, Nabors Drilling, KCA Deutag, and Ensign. Lamprell was founded in the 1970s by the Lamprell family; it became a publicly traded company in 2006.
