Lewis-Goetz only sounds like a heavyweight prizefight from the 1930s. In fact, the company's predecessor firm (called Gooding Rubber) was in business then, but as a dealer of industrial rubber components rather than roundhouse lefts. Today, Lewis-Goetz operates about 70 stocking facilities, through which it distributes a range of industrial products including conveyor belting; hydraulic and metal hoses, joints, and nozzles; and gaskets and seals. Approximately 80% of products distributed are made in the US. It also performs related maintenance services on conveyor belt systems. Lewis-Goetz is controlled by investment firm Audax Group.
