Description Be it hoisting a steel column or a frosty mug, The Manitowoc Company (MTW) plays a leading role. MTW's Crane business manufactures lifting equipment such as tower cranes, mobile telescopic cranes, and boom trucks, prevalent in construction and mining operations, but also used in petrochemical, utilities, and energy projects. Its Foodservice segment caters to commercial kitchens in restaurants, hotels, health care facilities, and institutions, supplying a slate of ice-making and beverage-dispensing machines, and food prep and heating equipment. MTW operates almost 100 manufacturing, distribution, and service facilities in more than 25 countries; two of its largest manufacturing facilities are in the US.
