Got a boo-boo in Brooklyn? Feeling queasy in Queens? MediSys Health Network's got a cure for what ails you. The health system encompasses three not-for-profit general hospitals located in New York City's two most populous boroughs: Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Flushing Hospital Medical Center, and The Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. The hospitals collectively house some 1,200 acute care beds and 650 long-term care beds. The system features two Level 1 trauma centers, as well as specialized centers for brain injury, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation. MediSys also operates a network of more than 15 family health care clinics, and two home health agencies.
