Meridian Health is out to direct its patients toward good health. The medical provider administers a continuum of health care services to patients in central New Jersey's coastal communities. Meridian Health includes five hospitals, an area network of primary care physicians, and multiple outpatient and ambulatory care centers. It also operates a home health care agency and rehabilitation and behavioral health care programs. Its flagship hospital is the nearly 650-bed Jersey Shore University Medical Center, an affiliate of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Other hospitals in the system include Ocean Medical Center, K. Hovnian Children's Hospital, and Riverview Medical Center.
